Dr. Kumar V. Penmetsa has over 25 years of biotech and pharma industry experience. After graduating with a Ph.D. in 1997, he started his career as a Research Investigator at Bristol-Myers Squibb. In 2002, he moved to Human Genome Sciences and transitioned from a Research Investigator to a Project Manager. In 2004, he moved back to Bristol-Myers Squibb to manage R&D Operations and Strategic Transactions in Oncology, Immunology, Cardiovascular and Metabolic diseases therapeutic areas. During his time at BMS, he also spent four years living in Shanghai, China to build the R&D Operations function. Kumar currently serves as an independent biopharma consultant at KVP Biotech Consulting providing R&D Strategy, Program Leadership, Operations, Project & Alliance Management, Business Development Search & Evaluation, Corporate Development, Fundraising and New Company Creation Consulting Services. He graduated with a Ph.D. in Toxicology from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA.

Dr. K. Vasantha Babu is a Consultant Orthopedician at Queens NRI Hospital, with more than 17 years of experience. He is an MBBS; D'(ORTHO) ORDINATURA(ORTHO-MOSCOW). He is a Specialist in Complex Trauma Management and Joint Replacement Surgery and Spine surgery. He is an eminent Surgeon in the field of Knee and Hip Replacement, performed over 1,500 operations. He has dedicated 17 years to active academic and clinical orthopedic practice treating patients for complex fractures, arthroscopy, corrective surgery for Polio and Cerebral Palsy and knee and hip replacement surgery.
Previously he worked as Junior Consultant in Care Hospital, RK Hospital, Gajuwaka and as a Senior Consultant at Krishi Trust Hospital (now KIMS ICON Hospital), Sheelanagar and Kala Hospital amongst others. He has been working as medical superintendent in administration of Queens NRI Hospital for the last 2 and 1/2 years and has been involved in teaching as orthopedic faculty since three years for Diplomate National Board(DNB) students in Queens NRI Hospital. He is actively involved in surgical training and conducting seminars for post graduates and acting as a guide to thesis submissions. He is also actively involved in training of final year interns and fifth year project works of PharmaD students.

Dr Rashmin Gandhi, is a seasoned Ophthalmologist and an entrepreneur with executive positions in several companies.

Dr Rashmin Gandhi, is a seasoned Ophthalmologist and an entrepreneur with executive positions in several companies. In addition, he is currently involved in multiple academic research projects. His interests include development of new technologies in Ophthalmology, education and community outreach programs. He is a research scholar at International Institute of Information Technology ( IIIT, Hyderabad). He was an adjunct faculty at IIT Madras and the clinical director of the IIT-Sankara Nethralaya team which developed the mobile eye surgical units. Dr Gandhi has led a team to organize and conduct outreach programs in Zambia, Kenya and Botswana. Dr Gandhi is a member of the International Council of Ophthalmology ‘s Technology for Education Committee and the Education Committee of All India Ophthalmological Society. He established a teaching institute and hospital and has been leading eye Care operations with the Ministry of Health in Iraq,Gabon, Benin and Togo. He has also conducted revision courses for FRCS exams since 2001. He has delivered invited lectures across the world .
